The Story of SugaFix

Hi! Welcome to the crazy world of SugaFix Designer Desserts. My name is Mesha Fields. My sweet journey had a very different start. I am a Registered Pharmacist. I often used art and crafting as an outlet to relieve stress, even through college.

 

In 2008, my beautiful niece arrived and shook up my world. I was (and am) IN LOVE. I decided to throw her one of those super-sized first birthday parties. After months of cake decorating class at our local Community College, I WAS HOOKED! Following years of hobby baking SugaFix was born. With the distress of the pandemic and an increasingly stressful work life, I decided to leave healthcare to live my passion. So, here we are!

Investing Back

SugaFix is dedicated to giving back to its community. To encourage education through creativity, SugaFix seeks to introduce as many children and young people as possible to the arts, STEM, and entrepreneurship.

 

We consider cake decorating an art form. Our medium just happens to be yummy. We also seek to enlighten our youth about the importance of STEM by creating a spark to young minds with the “art of science and math” through baking. Last, SugaFix wants to enlighten students with the knowledge that by marrying creativity and STEAM we can make a living doing what we love.
